We Stand with Ukraine
On Friday 22nd April 2022, Marilyn accepted the invitation from PDG Margaret Blowey to join the meeting of RC Manchester Breakfast, when the speaker was Dave King, Editor of the Rotary (RGB&I) magazine. In the latest edition he wrote the article headed "We Stand with Ukraine" as well as a very informative article of an interview with the editor of Russia's Rotary magazine. His article can be seen in our April 2022 Rotary Down Under magazine pages 25-27
Coincidentally, another visitor to the meeting DGN Sashwati Mukherjee (Swati) from the RC of Bolton Lever in D1285. Last year when India was at the height of the COVID pandemic, she organised our district response to provide oxygen concentrators, done so effectively in a short period of time..
