Circumstances external to the club have resulted in us not having a Present Elect
Our club was initially set up to allow access to Foundation Grants for members having major overseas projects.
We have been very successful in this regard, however, in order to maintain such access, there needs to be a Rotary Club to act as a conduit for those funds.
Our present situation, being without a President-Elect, means that the club may have to consider another way of functioning.
Ideally, a member will volunteer to take on the position. We have covered all the other positions on the board and the peripheral responsibilities. the only position vacant is that of President.
Please consider the possibility of taking on the position. Oscar, a Past President is to be Secretary so, with his recent experience, the job of President should be well mentored. Bothe David Dean and I are happy to assist as advisors but we need someone willing to take on the job.
The real future of the club rests in the hands of you members.
