As you know from the last Phoenix our club has received the Bronze and Silver
Environmental Awards which were presented to us at the District Conference by Melanie
Lewis District Environmental Chair. Only two other clubs in our District – Wahroonga and
Lower Blue Mountains have attained this level!
On your behalf we are now hunting for gold so Doug Vincent, Ross Johnson and myself have
our planning hats on – we will be in touch with you all soon. Meanwhile let’s pat ourselves
on the back as we already have so many wonderful projects with an environmental aspect –
be it in improving biodiversity, recycling, climate action, improving food supplies, reducing
pollution or sustainable living.
