Laptops and medical equipment are sought for doctors involved with our club’s RAWCS/HandUp Congo project Building a Healthy Congo. Packing is set for Sept. 20 in Sydney so if you have good condition items please get in touch with Lucy Hobgood-Brown on handupcongo@gmail.com or 0417 272 101. The needs include:
1) Defibrillator (1)
2) Training Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) (2)
3) Torso CPR Mannequins (8)
4) CPR and defibrillators mannequins
5) Various European Resuscitation Council laminated algorithms posters in French
6) Advanced Life Support mannequin (1)
7) Intubating mannequins (2)
8) Various airway devices
9) Various oxygen delivery devices
10) Various trauma management equipment (rigid cervical collars,…)
11) Various IV/IO access devices
12) Any other emergency skills training equipment!
This equipment will be used in training workshops led by the new DRC Emergency Medicine Association, which our RAWCS project proudly helped to jump start! Lucy will be attending their first conference and training workshops in November.
