Each year the District Governor-Elect; researches invites and appoints experienced Rotarians to fill almost 130 positions on the District Team. These Rotarians serve as committee chairs, advisors, presenters, organizers, and members of many committees.
The district regulations suggest that a maximum tenure of three years, plus a one-year appointment as a Committee Chair applies. Turnover of appointments brings enthusiasm and fresh ideas to each role and builds depth in the district. Involvement at a district level enables members to meet other Rotarians and share ideas and joint learning experiences.
Normally the District Governor-Elect would be out and about meeting members at District events and getting to know the capability and skillsets of our 1800 Rotarians. This survey is designed to give you the opportunity of serving on the District Team and expanding your Rotary experience
