| On 25 August, Rotary joined our partners in the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) in marking the first anniversary of the World Health Organization’s African region being certified free of wild polio. The infrastructure and innovations developed continue to benefit children’s and public health across the continent and play an important role in fighting COVID-19.
