Our involvement in a new blood bank in Guntur, India
On December 30th 2020 an online ceremony was held to commission a new blood bank in Guntur, India. The project was organized by PDG Ravi Vadlamani (D3150), a long-term friend of our District through Bruce Allen.
The E-Club of Greater Sydney provided a small fraction of the funds, which were matched by District 9685 DDF, and we were thanked repeatedly during the ceremony.
The ceremony had over 140 people attending, including several senior Rotarians including our RI President-Elect Shekhar Mehta, Past President Rajendra Saboo, and RI Director Kamal Sanghvi.
