On Sunday 12th July, Marilyn and Dudley attended the first zoom meeting of this fellowship.
About 45 members logged on to this, the first Zoom meeting of the group. It was greater to put faces to the names we knew. Thre was a lot of good natures banter one member saying "The best place to holiday will be on a cruise - they are so paranoid about cleanliness you'll be able to eat your meals off the floor", answered by - "is there any other way,"
Travel insurance came up and the consensus seemed to be that the offering attached to many credit cards is as good as you can get, just read the fine print - you can sometimes extend the cover by paying a small premium. I'll be trying it next (if ever) cruise. One woman is still waiting for around $100000 to be refunded for cancelled cruises and flights. Out of my paygrade but there are many members who almost live on cruise ships.
